written and recorded by studio musicians Garrett Scott, Dale Frashuer, and producer/writer Paul Leka at Mercury studios in New York City. When it topped the charts, Leka put together a band called Steam and sent them out on tour in support of the song. In 1970, the "Steam" was let out of the band and the band disbanded.
They left a legacy though that is still heard at sporting events worldwide whenever a team wins a game. Enjoy!
